Parkway Cabins Policies

Thank you for visiting our website and having a look around. Parkway Cabins, Inc. is a family owned and operated getaway in Boone, North Carolina. We take pride in our vacation rentals and hope that you do as well. To help make everyone’s vacation getaway the best it can possibly be we have put in place a few policies we would like for everyone to follow.

SMOKING

Smoking inside of any of the Cabins will result in a $150.00 fee charged to the tenant.  This is a zero tolerance policy.  You are welcome to smoke on the porch of any of the cabins, but you are not allowed to smoke inside of any of the cabins. We ask that you please be courteous to future tenants and follow this policy.

WEATHER AND ROAD CONDITIONS

Weather conditions in the North Carolina mountains can be extremely difficult to predict. Keep in mind that between the months of November to April frozen precipitation is a very common element in the High Country. We recommend a four wheel drive vehicle and/or chains if we are expecting inclement weather. There will be no refunds, allowances, or date changes resulting from bad weather conditions.

PAYMENTS AND CHARGES

All of our reservations will require a $35 reservation processing fee on top of the nightly/weekly rates.  A credit card number must be placed on file. Reservations made in advance require %50 deposit of the rental fee for confirmation.  All remaining payments will be due  30 days prior to checking into your cabin. Reservations made more than 45 days from the date of check-in may be made by personal check, money order, cashier’s check, or credit card. A reservation made within 15 days of the arrival date must be paid in full by credit card to guarantee reservation.

DAMAGES

We do not require a damage deposit. We like to think that our tenants will treat our cabins as if they were there own. However, an inspection will be done after each tenant departs. If any damages are found on the property the tenant will be charged to cover the damages.Please do not rearrange any furniture or other articles. If it is necessary to move something, please return it to its original place before you leave.

CANCELLATION POLICY

All reservations are final. If you must cancel your reservation, please call us immediately. Cancellations, switching properties, and date changes are all under the cancellation policy. If you must do any of the above, you will forfeit %100 of the total rent due.

TRASH COLLECTION

We would like for all tenants to bag any trash collected during their stay and place in the trash cans located at the pond on the main road. This would be a great help to us. Thank you for your cooperation. Any tenants failing to place trash into provided trash cans will be charged a $50 trash removal fee.
Spring House Cabin will bag all trash in trash can at the back deck. This cabin is off site from the other cabins.

PETS

Pets will be allowed on a per tenant basis. Please call if you are considering bringing your pet. We have certain cabins that we do allow pets in, however there are size limits for pets. There will be a non-refundable pet deposit of $75. We ask that you do not allow pets to get on any furniture or be left alone in the cabin unless they are in a crate. Any damages caused by pets will be charged to the tenant. If we find that you had a pet in a cabin without permission you will forfeit your rental fees in full as well as a $100 fine, and be evicted from the property.

Televisions are provided in our cabins for your convenience and comfort.

ITEMS LEFT

Parkway Cabins is not responsible for items left behind in one of our rental cabins. Please take the time to look around and gather all of your belongings before you leave. If we do come across something we can mail it to you at the expense of the tenant.

EQUIPMENT FAILURE

All equipment in our cabins should be working properly when you arrive. If something is not working properly or is damaged please notify us as soon as possible. We will make every effort to fix the problem.  We cannot refund any money due to equipment failure. Please be patient if you encounter any inconvenience.

CHECK IN/OUT

Check in time will be after 3:00 pm on the scheduled date of arrival. Check out time will be by 11:00 am on the scheduled date of departure. Spring House check in time is after 4:00 pm.
